To all the new visitors to Sketch War, welcome again. What you saw this week was a pretty good example of what we do around here every week, with a few minor modifications. We hope you enjoyed the sketches, and if you haven&#8217;t had a chance to read them all, here&#8217;s your chance. A record six warriors entered the arena this week swinging their +2 Maces of Mirth and Slashing with +4 Swords of Silliness.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DNW led off the week by <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/advertising-davids-entry-lie-to-me-baby.html\">being honest about lying<\/a>, or possibly it was lying about honesty, or lying about honestly lying&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Ken followed quickly on his heels with a few <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/01\/fsw-advertising-edition-kens-entry.html\">jingoistic jingles<\/a>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>RA <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/advertising-edition-ras-entry.html\">heated things up<\/a> next, I mean worldwide it all got a few degrees hotter&#8230; <\/li>\n<li>Peter tried out a <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/fsw-advertising-edition-peters-entry.html\">few slogans on a focus group<\/a>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>Michael gave us all an idea for <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/fsw-advertising-edition-michaels-entry.html\">the next big startup<\/a>&#8230;<\/li>\n<li>David brought up the rear with an <a href=\"http:\/\/sketchwar.blogspot.com\/2009\/02\/spelling-bee.html\">I-D-E-A whose time has come<\/a>&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A variety of styles and approaches were on display this week. There&#8217;s something in there for everyone. Take a look and be sure to leave comments letting the brawlers know what you thought, good or ill.<\/p>\n<p>Next week we&#8217;re going to roll our a series of sketches based on the theme: <b>Pimp my TV<\/b>.
