EXT. BATTLEMENTS – NIGHT<\/p>\n
A cold, spooky night on the castle walls.<\/p>\n
Officers Marcellus and Bernardo, dressed as modern-day cops, stand guard. A third SHADOWY FIGURE in a modern-day suit accompanies them.<\/p>\n
HAMLET (period dress) approaches.<\/p>\n
MARCELLUS<\/p>\n
Hail to you, Lord Hamlet!<\/p>\n
HAMLET<\/p>\n
I am glad to see you well.<\/p>\n
Hamlet spies the shadowy figure.<\/p>\n
HAMLET<\/p>\n
What make you from Wittenberg, Horatio?<\/p>\n
The shadowy figure steps forward -- it’s HORATIO CAINE.<\/p>\n
HORATIO<\/p>\n
Lord Hamlet, thou shouldst say not one word further.<\/p>\n
Horatio puts on his sunglasses.<\/p>\n
He nods to the two cops, who seize Hamlet.<\/p>\n
HORATIO<\/p>\n
For thou’rt accus\u00e9d of thy father’s murther!<\/p>\n
SMASH CUT TO:<\/p>\n
OPENING CREDITS<\/p>\n
A montage of tapestries, accompanied by an (unseen) castrati SINGER playing a short bit of “Won’t Be Fooled Again” on the lute.<\/p>\n
SINGER (V.O.)<\/p>\n
Yea! We shan’t be fooled again!<\/p>\n
The title “CSI: Wittenberg” appears.<\/p>\n
CUT TO:<\/p>\n
EXT. BATTLEMENTS – NIGHT<\/p>\n
Horatio and Barcellus confer.<\/p>\n
A GHOST tries to get their attention.<\/p>\n
HORATIO<\/p>\n
Keep close watch upon Hamlet still. Methinks he be a suicide risk.<\/p>\n
