EXT. ALASKAN PLAIN – DAY

LEVI and CJ, bundled up in parka’s and gloves, stand over the body of the last CSI Lead in blowing snow on a barren white plain. CJ wears a navy blue parka with a police badge pinned to the front and “CSI” stenciled on the back in big yellow letters.

CJ

You know, that forehead gunshot wound looks nasty, but my gut says he died from natural causes, so I’m going with that.

LEVI

Nice work there Chief.

CJ

Well thanks Levi, that’s real nice of you to say.

Levi pulls a .45 automatic out of his jacket and shoots CJ in the head.  CJ falls dead. Levi pulls out a cell phone and makes a call

Hey Ethel, it’s Levi...again. Better re-open the want ad.  No, this guy was great. I just hadn’t fired my gun in a few days, and I had to make sure it still worked.
